My problem is that it is timed what you need and should do is only make it a certain amount of questions with no time limit.
L. M., Tarrant County College, Fall 2010

I Love this tutor
L. J., Loyola University Chicago, Fall 2010
-
does a good job explaning the loop
R. S., Southern Polytechnic State University, Fall 2010

I have and am learning a lot, but I am still learning and I believe that I can do better
M. R., Tarrant County College, Spring 2010
-
it was hard at first but the explanations definetely helped
L. T., School for the Talented and Gifted, Spring 2010

i like this tutorial it opened my eye
K. K., University at Albany, Spring 2009

This tutor was very helpful, and it clearly reminded me of my wrong answers which helped me gain a useful incite of how i am supposed to use this and how not to use this.
K. Y., University at Albany, Spring 2009
-
This is a very effective tutorial that helped sharpen my skills.
C. M., Vanderbilt University, Spring 2011

This assignment helped with learning the structure of for loops and the order in which the computer analysis the for loops
M. C., Ramapo College of New Jersey, Spring 2011

I've been programming JASS (Specialized C++) in GUI for years, so loops aren't really something I need help on: Hence, I wouldn't use this tutorial if it was made available, unless I didn't already know about loops. However, to someone who doesn't know about loops, I think this is a great tutorial for them to use to gain a better understanding of the mechanics of loops.
T. P., Vanderbilt University, Spring 2010
-
This is helpful!
T. L., Vanderbilt University, Spring 2011
-
I feel that it's not fair that there is a time limit on this kind of tutor.
S. C., Vanderbilt University, Spring 2010
-
Very good for review
A. A., Grand Valley State University, Spring 2010
-
I was not able to finish all of the problems due to the time cut off. I would have liked to finish all of them for more practice.
M. D., Ramapo College of New Jersey, Spring 2010
-
It definetly gave me a better understanding
L. T., School for the Talented and Gifted, Spring 2010
-
Great lesson!
G. B., Milton High School, Spring 2011

Loops take a while to figure out and put in the answers for each loop, this was a good length and did not feel too long while taking it. For more loop tutorials, this is an excellent length for the tutorial without it feeling too time-consuming and long / repetative.
B. K., Ramapo College of New Jersey, Fall 2009
-
The while loop exercise definately helped me prepare for this exercise
J. M., University at Albany, Spring 2009
-
this tutor has helped me again, to understand things i had not knew before.
K. Y., University at Albany, Spring 2009
-
this was very hepful to help me learn loops!
S. W., University at Albany, Spring 2009
-
I would recommend that all classes use this for there students.
J. P., University at Albany, Spring 2009
-
Hard, but the while loops were harder
W. R., Mercer County Community College, Spring 2009
-
It's a pretty neat new way to help students learn certain things about programming.
B. J., Appalachian State University, Fall 2008
-
It was very helpfull
M. P., Ohlone College, Fall 2008
-
This helped me understand a little more about looping. I was having some trouble understanding some of the material.
J. S., Armstrong Atlantic State University, Spring 2008
-
I finally figured out what nested loops were doing. so therefore this program was successful. !!!!
C. P., SUNY Brockport, Spring 2008
- This was the best practice yet. I think it helped have done two others, because I knew a better what was expected of me. This tutor also had some more difficult questions I thought. It made me think a bit. I thought that it was good.
K. R., BYU-Idaho, Spring 2007
-
I struggled with this one more than the others. This is something that I need to practice more.
M. R., Ramapo College of New Jersey, Spring 2011
-
I looked up what continue meant; made it a lot easier!
J. J., Milton High School, Spring 2011

It was helpful specially in understanding the grammar rules of break and continue
S. S., Ramapo College of New Jersey, Fall 2010

This tutor was helpful in showing how functions can call other functions and the order in which things are done and how parameters are passed
M. C., Ramapo College of New Jersey, Spring 2011
-
I learned functions!
K. G., Southern Polytechnic State University, Fall 2010

Amazing, Awesome
T. C., University of St Joseph, Macau, Spring 2011

Very Good
Z. C., University of St Joseph, Macau, Spring 2011
-
This was a tough one for me, I will have to revisit this one in the future

I hope to be able to use the tutor system with the next topics, I think
A. A., Texas Southern University, Fall 2009

The problems require you to trace which takes time. Everyone learn things different.I suggest keep practicing even after the tutor is completed.
C. S., Tarrant County College, Spring 2011
-
good practice and good test of understanding
B. C., Tarrant County College, Spring 2011

This helped to understand how arrays work (After first attempt)
-
This helped to show how parameters are passed by parameters and get down the way they are assigned (After second attempt)
M. C., Ramapo College of New Jersey, Spring 2011
-
I want to become a computer geek. I need to understand arrays better.
C. B., Southern Polytechnic State University, Spring 2011

I think it would be useful in different programming languages as well.
A. S., University of Tennessee Knoxville, Fall 2010
-
This was one of the simplest and most usefull tools I have used, but it took me awhile to get through it
L. W., University of Tennessee Knoxville, Fall 2010

I love you !!!
Y. Z., Ohlone College, Spring 2010

The tutor is a good learning tool
N. U., Texas Southern University, Fall 2009

This tutor should be included in all CS1 and CS2 classes in order to give the students a better understanding of this concept. This concept is a crucial topic in C++ and as such should be given more emphasis. The tutor would be a viable aid in this area as it provides added clarity to the material being covered.
R. B., Ramapo College of New Jersey, Spring 2009
-
I like this tutor, which helps me to understand what I learned and what I should learn in the future.
G. T., Ramapo College of New Jersey, Spring 2008
-
Need more tutors like this for all c++ subjects. for example, functions, enumerated types, structures, arrays and so on... also they should be made available at anytime.
P. D., Ramapo College of New Jersey, Spring 2008
-
Overall, this is a great learning tool. As mentioned in the feedback section, I wish it was available on other topics.
J. G., Ramapo College of New Jersey, Spring 2008
- I find the tutors to be a great review tool before an exam. Will you be posting additional tutors for abstractions, arrays, and strings as well?
